Hi I’m Jo — an accredited transformational career and life coach, trained through the ICF-approved Animas Centre for Coaching, with a Level II qualification in Understanding Autism.
But long before I ever trained as a coach, I was a creative with a spark that lit up everything I did.
From a young age, music, dancing, and making things with my hands made me feel alive. That spark grew into a world-class career: I trained at the Royal College of music and spent 25 years performing, recording, and touring as a freelance violinist.
I had the privilege of performing with artists such as
Adele, Beyonce, Ed Sheeran, Gnarls Barkley, Kanye West, Rihanna, Simply Red, Take That, The Killers and many more.
Alongside performing, I founded Green Fairy Productions, created multiple acts (including my LED and laser violin act Lumina), and one of my acts even won Britain’s Got Talent.
And then I became a mum and it changed everything.
I didn’t plan to step away from performing, but motherhood was all-consuming. My energy, focus, and attention poured completely into raising my boys. Slowly, quietly, my spark began to dim.
I stepped away from performing for around seven years. I felt exhausted, flat, and disconnected from the person I used to be. And when I finally had a bit more space for me again, I didn’t understand why it didn’t bring joy… only overwhelm and confusion.
At the time, I didn’t realise I’d lost my spark — I just knew I felt dull, drained, and unsure who I was anymore.
As my children grew older, something unexpected happened: I found my way back to performing.
After years away, stepping onto a stage again felt like breathing life back into a part of me I thought I’d lost. Every rehearsal, every show, every moment with my violin lit more of that spark I’d been missing.
Performing was the first thing that brought my spark back to life.
It reminded me who I was. It reminded me what feeling alive actually felt like.
And as that spark grew stronger, something deeper awakened too — a desire to help other women find theirs again.
I realised I didn’t just want my own spark back. I wanted to help other mums who are creatives relight theirs too.
That was when the fire in my belly truly ignited.

A few things about me
- Mum to two gorgeous neurodivergent boys.
- Owner of two extremely floofy ragdoll cats
- Cadbury’s chocolate = my biggest weakness
- Nature, friends, family time, and travel make me happy
- I really enjoy networking now (shockingly!)
- Maths and mud… absolutely not
- Decaf lattes and chilled prosecco are a yes please
- I love music, dancing, theatre, laughter, and creating things that light people up!
Why all of this matters
My 25 years in the creative industries, my experience as a single mum, my understanding of neurodivergence, and my training in coaching and nervous system work give me a unique perspective.
My journey wasn’t linear. It wasn’t tidy. And it definitely wasn’t quick.
But with the right support, compassion, and small, steady steps, I rebuilt a life that lights me up — from the inside out.
If I could relight my spark… you can too. And it would be a privilege to help you find yours.
